2016 case study on ancient woodland restoration and tree disease

This case study explains how Jim Reid’s plans to restore his ancient woodland in Kent were adapted when he discovered tree disease on the site.

Jim had originally planned to return the woodland to pendunculate oak to encourage wildlife and for wood fuel.

Now with the Trust’s help, the restoration will include extra measures to manage the impact of the disease.
