Why remember the Woodland Trust in your will?

Gifts in wills are essential for everything we do to protect woods, trees and wildlife. Your legacy could be part of a greener future for the next generation:

  • protecting the places you love – saving woods and trees from destruction and helping fight against tree pests and diseases
  • caring for ancient woods which have outlived generations, making sure they’ll still be here far into the future
  • making a lasting mark on the world and creating a UK where healthy native woods thrive for people and wildlife.

£100

could allow us to plant and care for four new native trees on our land.

£5,000

could help us create a beautiful five-acre (2ha) wildflower meadow offering shelter and food for pollinators.

£500,000

could fund the purchase of around 50 acres (20ha) of land for native broadleaf planting, depending on location and existing use of the land.

I have always loved nature and am pleased that there are dedicated people like yourselves who really care about the environment. I will leave money in my will to the Woodland Trust as I want to leave nature in all its forms in a better place. I believe it will be money well spent!

Write or update your will for free

We offer a limited number of free, simple wills. Apply online with Farewill or, should you prefer face to face, please click on the 'Get in touch' button below and ask about the National Free Wills Network.

Many people using a free wills service choose to include a gift to the referring charity, but there is no obligation to do so. However, as I'm sure you appreciate, we do hope you'll consider making this generous decision to protect woods, trees and wildlife into the future.
