Ystrad Gwyn

This woodland sits on the slopes of a narrowing gorge carved out by Nant Cadair, with water cascading to Minffordd and into Afon Faw. There were a series of waterfalls along the course of its steep descent through the wood, including a spectacular waterfall near the bottom at Dol-y-cae.
