Worplesdon Commons - Whitmoor Common

One of a series of areas that used to be common land. The combination of heathland, woods, streams and ponds is the largest in the area and supports a wide range of species. This has been designated a Local Nature Reserve, a SSSI and a Specially Protected Area, reflecting its environmental importance.
