Waunwern Woodland

Opposite the much larger Lower Race woods, this is a tiny patch of dense woodland on the A472 at Old Furnace,outside Pontypool. In Spring, there is a carpet of Celandine flowers next to the narrow footpath. There are bus stops right next to the wood on Crumlin Road.
