Situated between a large housing estate and Silverknowes Golf Course, this wood is reached from the verge of the main road. There are no paths or trails, and not a great variety of trees, but it may be of interest for spotting wildflowers. There is a car park nearby at Silverknowes Park, and Lothian Buses run along Muirhouse Parkway.
