Strathy North Achrugan

Follow the A836 heading towards the village of Strathy and on entering the village take the first turning on the left. Follow the track heading towards Bowside Lodge to the wood. However at the moment there is a lot of construction going on in the area as a windfarm is being constructed, but it is still possible to visit the woods but with great care. Parking at site by Bowside Lodge with a short walk over a bridge over the River Naver to the woods. Predominately a pine conifer plantation.
