SCOTTISH WILDLIFE TRUST WOOD
Shewalton wood is one of nine greenspaces in Irvine, North Ayrshire and is owned and managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust. With over 100 hectares to explore there is something for everyone here with a fantastic mix of grassland, woodland and wetland. The woodland is mostly conifer with native woodland regeneration. There are three miles of made footpaths making this reserve suitable for visitors of all abilities.
