Ousel Nest Quarry

The visitor to this enclosed former quarry and its surrounding woodland is greeted by a waterfall cascading over the vertical rock face into the pools below. An attractive pond can be found by following the walkway Northwards along the lower edge of the site,where long distance views open up across Jumbles reservoir towards Holcombe.In the other direction it is possible to venture further afield to join Grange Road and on to Ousel Nest Meadows to more fully explore this very attractive area.
