Northmoor Hill Wood

This nature reserve is one of the major attractions of Colne Valley Regional Park and has been specially designed with way-marked trails, gates and board walks to attract families of all ages into the woods. The main feature is the 'rock trail' with regular notice boards that explain how the geology of the area determines the landscape and types of trees and other vegetation present. There's free parking on site and nearby Denham aerodrome may be an added attraction for young plane spotters.
