PRIVATELY OWNED WOOD
This wood is now part of the National Memorial Arboretum, which honours those who have served and continue to serve our country. 50,000 trees have been planted in an area covering 150 acres. For some it is a place to stroll along the many paths and trails and enjoy trees and wildlife. For others it is a place to remember loved ones as many of the trees are dedicated to memorials. There is a big car park, a lovely visitor centre, exhibition area, restaurant and gift shop.
