Monks Steps

An ancient stone pathway lined with a steep and narrow bank of trees bedded into the rock. The dense tree canopy in summer makes this a shady short cut down to Kewstoke village. Although this doesn't constitute much of a woodland walk in itself it does add an interesting detour if used as part of a larger walk through Weston Wood or down to Sandbay, views of which can be seen from the top of the steps.
