PRIVATELY OWNED WOOD
These woods are looked after by the residents of the bay. There are three areas which comprise this area: Crow Wood; Hopeward Wood; and Bathing House Wood. The woods have existed in these locations at least since 1811 when they feature on a map of that time showing the Donibristle estate of the Earls of Moray. During spring, carpets of bluebells appear, and the woods are host to a variety of wildlife, plants and fungi.
