Benhar Bing

A large wood on the site of former shale bing. Track leading from B717 at the back of Harthill on the opposite side of road from Eastfield woods. Plenty of parking at site. No visible access to woods by foot but able to walk along track and see woods. A good mixture of trees with large areas of peat bog and open grasslands.
