This mixed woodland around the Wallace monument consists of a mix of broadleaf trees including Oak, Ash, Sycamore, Birch, Pine and Spruce. The woodland supports a rich ground flora (dog's mercury, bluebells & ramsons) and fauna (roe deer & many bird species). The 3 waymarked trails are wide but steep with good views.
