Whitelee Forest is located at Eaglesham moor, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, near the village of Eaglesham. Whitelee is now home to the largest wind farm in Europe, with further expansion work continuing until late 2012, taking the total number of wind turbines to 215. This is a great open space with excellent facilities at the Wind Farm Visitor Centre, which is the starting point for exploring the various routes around the various trails.
