Wheldrake Woods

We visited Wheldrake woods in early September 2012. The weather as you will recall had been mixed wet all summer, on this occasion apart from a short shower earlier it was pleasantly dry and warm. the car park is ample and the paths clear and easy walking. side paths may be muddy in places after rain. midges prevented staying at the pond for long, but the dogs loved it in the water. Dog fouling is a problem but can be ignored .No dog bins! Pick up your waste!! problem solved.
