Westquarter Burn/mavisbank Woods

These woods are made up of three sections between the villages of Shieldhill and Glen Village just outside Falkirk. I visited the section of the woods just outside Glen Village on the B8028 where there is a small layby for parking. A wide foot path leads up from the main road where there are benches. Mixed woodland with mainly silver birch.
