This area is very popular, it has a wealth of attractions - historic village, West Wycombe House, Hellfire caves, St Lawrence's Church, Dashwood Mausoleum, garden centre, etc. The wood itself is not terribly large but it has some fascinating Yew trees, and it is possible to continue ones woodland walking for several miles by continuing N/NW to Heartons Wood and further to Piper's Hanging Wood and Allnut's Wood, or heading E across the A4010/railway to Bradenham Beeches, Naphill Common, and Dow
