Udny & Dudwick Estate

This is a very narrow strip of broadleaved woodland which, despite a fairly rural location, is very easy to reach. Buses stop in Pitmedden village (a few hundred metres from the northern end of the wood) and National Cycle Route 1 goes right past the other end. Pitmedden House, a National Trust for Scotland property with its own woodlands, is nearby. Both woods could be easily seen in a single visit.
