The adjoining woodlands of Uddens and Cannon Hill comprise Forestry Commission conifer plantation and broad leaf woodland. The Castleman Trailway runs almost the entire length. This and the many other wheelchair and pushchair friendly gravel tracks are ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding. Several bronze age barrows add historical value, while also serving as a spectacular viewpoint looking towards the distant Horton Tower. Uddens Water a tributary of the Moors River also adds interest
