Tinkers Shaw

I re-visited the wood this morning and had a very enjoyable circular walk from Downley, taking in Hughenden, Tinkers Shaw, and Tinkers Wood. Tinkers Shaw is in two parts - lower part is really just a green corridor (very overgrown in the bottom of the lower part) Above the road break it is a much more extensive wood - lots of mature beech and a whole lot of wild life activity - an enjoyable wood.
