The Great Wood

Purchased in 2016, this wood is about a mile's walk from Green Hammerton village centre and is accessible only on foot or 4-wheel drive via the access track from nearest public road, Stoned Horse Lane, Green Hammerton. This is not a Woodland Trust wood, but to the best of our knowledge, the details we've been given are correct. We provide the facility to search for publicly accessible woods, whoever owns them, to ensure that everyone has access to the benefits of woodland.
