The Castle

This steep hill directly under Edinburgh Castle is often forgotten about because it's tricky to access but offers great views from the top. Access via a bridge behind the Ross Band Stand (across the railway in West Princes Street Gardens). The uphill path joins another that crosses East-West to a gate halfway up the Mound.
