Taynish National Nature Reserve

Taynish NNR contains one of Britain's oldest surviving oakwoods. Wander amongst the gnarled branches carpeted in green moss, ferns and lichens for a chance to spot the rare marsh fritillary butterfly and nesting sea otters.
