Stamford Park

This popular park is only a short walk away from Altrincham's Metrolink station. The gardens are well maintained, with mature specimens of Oak, Willow and Plane trees, together with evergreen and ornamental species. Duck ponds, play areas and sports facilities make this a particularly family friendly destination and a small woodland section attracts squirrels and other animals. Visitors in search of wildlife are recommended to also seek out the nearby King George V Pond; a haven for waterfowl.
