Springpool Wood, Keele

A delightful mixed woodland with waymarked paths and several attractive ponds. There is evidence of previous landscaping and planting as part of the Keele Hall estate. The M6 motorway borders the wood to the south and traffic noise is inescapable here but soon fades the further away you go and the woods are otherwise well worth a visit.
