South Laggan Forest

Some of the loveliest paths in this woodland, a mix of pines and deciduous trees, are along Loch Lochy, and take in the Great Glen Way along flat, well maintained paths along the Caledonian Canal. There are several places to park, and there are several villages along the A82 for refreshments and toilets. Laggan Locks has good parking and a public toilet. Several published routes incorporate a return trip along the A82 which is a narrow and very busy major route into the Highlands.
