Announcement: Snakey Copse is closed to the public due to safety concerns relating to ash dieback, a disease that causes branches to become brittle and fall. The decay of ash trees along the one permissive path and recent tree collapses have meant we have decided to stop public access until 2029. We apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause. There is no public access to Snakey Copse until 2029. Any further updates will feature on this page.

Snakey Copse is a small mature woodland of mainly elm and ash situated on a knoll of limestone just south west of Kingskerwell. Access from the lane to the wood is via a narrow strip of land which forms a tunnel effect leading to the wood.
