Sideland Nature Reserve

This little patch of woodland is just south of Penybont (where there is a railway station on the Heart of Wales line). The wood can ONLY be approached on foot via a gated path. The trees comprise ash, birch and rowan. Ground cover includes wood anemone, orchids and bluebells. Birdlife includes woodpeckers, treecreepers, willow warblers and bullfinches.
