Savernake - Puthall Park

This ancient semi natural broadleaved woodland is part of the Savernake forest on the northern side of the A4 east of Marlborough. It has between 50-100 veteran and notable trees on its western edge. Access by either parking at Amity Oak in Savernake (SU235675) and walking via the footpath alongside Puthall Farm or on the B road to Stinchcombe (SU225670) and walking to the wood.
