Runnymede

The main feature of this small wood is that it backs on to the Kennedy Memorial, erected in honour of US President John F Kennedy, and affords attractive views down to the River Thames. It is one of the sites of interest on a circular walk around Runnymede that also takes in the Air Forces and Magna Carta memorials. Access to the wood is via Oak Lane, off the A328 (close to the Englefield Green sign), or from the Memorial end.
