Roselands Wood

Historically this wood was a source of clay for building local houses. Larger oak and ash trees are on the boundary of this wood whereas the rest of the woodland has only become covered with trees since the 1930s after the clay was worked-out. There is now plenty of habitat for insects and birds that feed on them.
