Plessey Woods Country Park

100 acres of woodland, meadows and riverside. Plenty of parking and good public transport links. The woodlands offer something of interest all year round. The beautiful riverside walk along the River Blyth offers a chance of spotting otters and kingfishers. A good network of paths makes this popular with walkers, cyclists and horse riders. For visitors with disabilities, the Visitor Centre and cafe are easily accessible and a wide firm path leads through the woods and along the riverside.
