Pleck Park

The woodland in Pleck Park is a mixed woodland with sycamore, oak, beech and ash. The park is owned and managed by Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council but with support from Friends of Pleck Park who have a facebook page. The woodland screens the M6 from local residents and is home to number of species such as pipistrelle bats, green woodpecker and swift that are all living within 2km of the park. The park has a children's playground, a bowls green, a pavilion to support changing facilities for the cricket, tennis and basket ball courts. Volunteers are needed to help improve the woodland habitat.
