Philiphaugh Trust Estate

There are a range of woodland walks with varying degrees of difficulty. The best place to start is at the Watermill Cafe where there is car parking, information boards and the first of several routes. The Salmon Leap Observatory is superb, and there's an easy woodland walk along the river with brass rubbing on posts for children. Another car park at Corbie Linn has an info board and two more routes start here. They are more strenuous climbing up the hillside. The views are worth it!
