Paxton House is a wonderfully preserved Adam house dating from 1758, spectacularly situated on the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders. The beautiful grounds feature well maintained trees and are a haven for wildlife, including red squirrels for which the The Paxton Trust has a significant conservation programme. Only 3 miles from the A1 and just a little further from historic Berwick upon Tweed, Paxton is easily accessible and a great family day out.
