An area of oak and birch wood on the hillside outside Greetland, also known as North Dean Woods. There is an extensive network of footpaths, including part of the Calderdale Way, most of which follow roads once used to remove stone from the disused quarries found in the woods. There is a wide variety of plant and birdlife. The entrance to the wood is near to Clay House and Clay House Park. A small free car park can be found on Stainland Road (B6112) as you enter Greetland.
