New Hutte Woods

Originally planted in the 1990s through a Mersey Forest initiative, New Hutte Woods lies behind the New Hutte estate off Redbourne Avenue & Mirfield Close. Major restoration work in 2011/12 transformed what had become an overgrown and unused woodland into a re-vitalised public space for south Halewood. New entrances, signage and seating complement an extensive new path network. The woodland habitat itself has also been restored. Contact Knowsley MBC on 0151 443 2482 to get involved.
