FORESTRY COMMISSION SCOTLAND WOOD
A large Forestry Commission woods in the village of Coalburn. Plenty of parking at various entrances to the site. A mixture of woods and open peat bog. The best way to reach the woods is to take Shoulderigg Road and follow the road out of the village. One of the several entrances to Coalburn Phase 1+2 is also along this road and is well worth a visit too. Popular walk with locals and their dogs as it is only a short distance from Coalburn.
