Moseley Bog is a truly magical place. It is believed that J R R Tolkien the author of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit fame gathered inspiration here when a child. It is also teeming with birdlife and other animals. The Wildlife Trust and Birmingham Council have spent much time in establishing this wood as a place to visit.
