Monks Wood Ashing Lane Nature Reserve

Monks Wood is a 35 acre community woodland, owned by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and managed by Nettleham Woodland Trust (NWT). 20,000 trees and shrubs were planted by local communities in 2009. Adjacent to Monks Wood is the new 10 acre Lincolnshire Co-operative Wood also managed by NWT with a large lake and 5000 wetland trees. The whole Reserve comprises 77 acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds and lake and is accessed by pathways. More information on website www.nettlehamwoodlandtrust.co.uk
