This 11-acre woodland was planted in 2003/4 and is designed as a link between the adjacent nature reserves of Arger Fen and Spouses Grove. The trees are all indigenous, and locally sourced, and will be beneficial to the local dormice population. It is fully fenced to keep out deer, hares and rabbits whilst the trees are young. It consists of a central clearing around an oak (Harry's oak) with four arms radiating from it to the far corners.
