Mill Dam Park is Kirkby's main public Park, which benefited from major investment in 2011. It boasts woodland/meadow to explore, as well as Mill Dam lake, an established angling facility. A major new play facility also attracts families from far and wide. The site has great walking links, with Millbrook Park to the south and Charlotte's Pagsy to the north.
