Although labelled as a scout camp on the maps, the woods do not invite public access. A field path can be followed round the outer perimeter, starting near the garden centre entrance, and this can lead to Worsley; returning by the canal towpath. However footpaths are no longer signposted and anyone looking to enjoy a woodland walk would be well advised to visit the excellent Worsley Woods instead.
