Merrow Common and Woods

Newlands Corner is a very popular beauty spot approximately two miles south-east of Guildford town. The open space is chalk grassland with superb views to the south and a large free car park from which one can set out. There's a Visitor Centre, Cafeteria, picnic tables and toilets. The woodlands have many very fine specimens of yew trees, some of which can be seen in the slide show at this location.
