Mellerstain House is an 18th century house in Gordon in the Scottish Borders. Built in he 18th century is is the family residence of the 13th Earl of Haddington. The house is well worth a visit as well as are the extensive gardens and parklands. There are woodland and lakeside walks and a children's play area and plenty of places to have a picnic. Great for wildlife with the chance to see deer and red squirrels. A great place to go for a day out and well worth a visit.
