Machrie

Machrie Moor is located on the Isle of Arran and owned by the Forestry Commission in Scotland and is a land rich in prehistoric archaeological history dating from about 3500BC. Within the moor are 5 stone circles one of which consists of 2 rings, there are also numerous standing stones, burial cairns and cists.
