Limerigg wood is set in quiet, gently rolling countryside and makes a fabulous get away for a walk, cycle or horse ride. There are lots of woodland birds to listen out for and spot, including bullfinch, willow warbler and woodpecker. The paths are mostly wide and smooth-surfaced, with moderate slopes. Plenty of good walks, from the shores of the Black Loch to pleasant forest rambles.
