Langdales Farm

Langdales is a large woodlands close to the village of Greengairs. It is a mixture of broadleaf and conifer plantation with some plantings too. There are several points to access these woods with plenty of off road parking. The section I entered follows a foot path that was an old railway line, so there are some good views looking down on the surrounding countryside. Grassy footpaths throughout. Great place for birds, the day I went I was lucky enough to see several hundred starlings gathering.
